Which mod to remove Speed Limit? Hey, returning to this awesome game. Iirc there is a max speed limiter for trucks in this game, but I forgot which mod works best to remove it. Not looking to make vehicles any faster than they naturally are, just want to make it so vehicles aren't artificially governed if that makes any sense? < 1 2 > Wolfgang Mar 11, 2022 @ 8:55am. If you are doing external contracts then the speed limiter is always active and limits you to 90km/h. The speed limiter during external contracts can not be deactivated as it is hard-coded in the game. #1. Some places in the US, you can drive 85 mphs ≈ 136.79 kmh in your 30-50 ton truck, wich from a european perspective is pretty wild. :P well i also played American Truck Simulator. which to me the speed limit feels higher than in ETS2 In most european countries there is no warning about an upcoming change of the speed limit. I think the signage is fine, I do have one small issue though: Some of the speed zones (especially in cities) are too small. For example, I drove through one town, the speed limit was 81 MPH coming in. It dropped to 56, then to 31, back up to 56, back to The truck speedlimit in the EU is 90km/h. #1. I must warn you though, by removing the limiter you will not only receive more speeding tickets and cause more crashes, but the eventuality - I have tried to place them in the various new folders I have made, and here in my last attempt, to be sure of my theory of misplacing the files, I have placed copies of the 2 .sii files in the folders: C: \ Users \ brian \ Documents \ Euro Truck Simulator 2 \ mod C: \ Users \ brian \ Documents \ Euro Truck Simulator 2 \ mod \ photo_camera i play with offense on, the speed limit is a bit strict, but if turned off, the speed limit will simply become completely pointless to me. I even have speed limiter on so I would never exceed 90km/h. I play with it off, and restrict myself to visiting the services only every 10,000km, so getting into accidents is out of the question. If you are referring to speed limits in general, there is an option to disable fines. Showing 1 - 2 of 2 comments The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic. .
